The NJ State Police and the NYPD Harbor Unit requires all persons who drive a boat or jet ski on the Hudson River to have a Boat Safety Certificate. It is very easy to acquire one and requires 8 hours of class time with a simple exam.  This certificate will allow you to rent a boat or jet ski from us or captain your own.
